Water Ball Toss
It's a simple game, played best with a group of children. Have the kids pair off and stand in two straight lines, with each kid directly across from his partner. Each pair is given a water ball. They toss the balls back and forth; when a ball breaks, that pair is out. Last pair with a ball intact wins. One variation is to have the children take a step back after each throw, making them have to throw farther. Another variation is to have the kids stand in a circle instead of two lines. Make a pinprick in a ball before filling it up with water, and then have the kids toss it around the circle. The last one holding the ball is in for a wet surprise.

Safety Measures For Inflatable Bouncers
Inflatable bouncers are a wonderful thing to have whenever there are occasions or family gatherings because children will surely have fun bouncing the whole day. Bouncers can be just rented or bought if you really want your kids to have their own bouncing space. As fun as these are but when these things are not properly used, it would lead to danger and injuries. It is really necessary to understand the safety measures of using these bouncers in order to prevent accident and to make it more enjoyable for the kids. Below are some safety guidelines to follow in order to ensure safety:
If you are heading for a family picnic, bringing inflatable bouncers can be a good idea but make sure that when you get there, you'll know how to install each part of the bouncer so that when kids decide to play, they will be out of harm. If you are just renting a bouncer, see to it that the company can provide a person who can do the proper set-up. When setting up, laid down a tap below it and check if it is already properly attach to the ground and it is not likely to fall or slide.
Before you let children play, test if everything is good and ask someone or keep an eye to the bouncer to make sure that children won't get hurt. Does the bouncer look like air have gone of it? Is the blower working efficiently? Do not allow children to play on it all together. An inflatable bouncer can't handle a lot of children and it will just create damage. The number of kids who will be using the bouncer will just depend on the size of the bouncer you have and the weight of the kids.

The History of the Bounce House
In 1959 a man named John Scurlock designed an inflatable cover for a tennis court, an idea that would eventually lead to one of the most popular party accessories available today. After watching his employees jumping around on his invention, Mr. Scurlock decided to make an inflatable mattress of sorts for a new form of fun. Eventually he expanded his idea to include larger models, and over the years the idea has transformed to become one of the coolest backyard party attractions ever. The business was known originally as the Space Walk and Mrs. Scurlock had the idea to make the inflatable fun obtainable by renting out the air filled structures. Today there are over one hundred rental facilities still sharing the fun for family parties everywhere.
The Bounce House, known by other names such as: the Moon Walk, Jolly Jumper or Astro Walk, has grown in popularity since its inception. Only rentals were available during the early years, but eventually these fun party inflatable structures have become affordable for most families to enjoy the fun in their very own backyards. Carnivals, churches and schools rent them and charge fees to raise monies. The Bounce House is a very versatile way to entertain or raise funds for events, and is a relatively safe way to make any occasion a hit.
Bounce Houses are constructed of a PVC or nylon and vinyl material which is sturdy and flexible at the same time. This material is also able to handle small punctures without damaging the Bounce House itself. Once just a mattress inflated with one or more fans, the Bounce House has become a structure with columns and a roof that is still inflated by fans. The difference in the construction is that the air has more area to move about, which takes less energy (one fan as opposed to two or more like earlier designs) and is nowhere near as hot in the summer months. Mesh is used to keep the participants from tumbling out, while also allowing parents the opportunity to watch while their children bounce around inside. And keep in mind, children aren't the only ones who enjoy Bounce Houses -- they are structurally supportive for adults to enjoy the fun as well!
There are many designs readily offered for renting or purchasing. Castles and animals are two of the most noted designs to attract attention. There are even inflatable slides for your swimming pool! Water parks are offering Bounce House structures complete with water slides as new attractions for visitors. With the internet it is easy to purchase a new or even used Bounce House of your very own. Since they are inflatable storage is a breeze, however if you don't have the space or the desire to own there are still many rental options available to you. Many rental facilities have trained staff to set up & take down the inflatable houses, as well as provide safety tips. Bounce Houses are available for any party you desire and certainly will make you the envy of the neighborhood!
Pearl Jewelry - The Story of Pearl Hunters
As long as pearl jewelry have been known to people, they have been a highly sought commodity for their beauty. It's only in recent times however that the industry has taken the hunt for the perfect pearl to a whole different level. Today, the shiny orbs that we see on in display in jewelry stores have actually almost always been grown in farms.
That's a far cry from the dangerous extraction and collection methods used before the invention of modern technology. In the past, not more than 100 years ago, the only way to retrieve pearls was by diving in lakes, floods and the ocean to pick them up, one at the time. The unfortunate divers who'se job it was to do this, were often poor and lured by the relative large sums they could get. The diver would sometimes have to dive as deep as 100 feet on one single breath of air. In order to preserve air and to stay submerged the longest, the divers would hold on to heavy stones on the way down.
Naturally, this dangerous activity was reserved for the desperate or the powerless - in many cases slaves or extremely poor peasents. Today, this method is all but obsolete in most places of the world. The cheaper cultured pearls have become popular and are many times the only pearls available to the consumer.
There are however still a few isolated areas that practice this old art of pearl diving. Some of the finest natural pearl speciments come from the gulf of Bahrain. Here, divers still risk their health to retrieve what are considered the top of the crop in the world. In fact, Bahrain wants no part of the sale of cultured pearls, banned from trade. Bahrain is one of the few places on earth that does an active job in trying to preserve the natural habitat and waters from pollution.
It's an interesting story and one that continues to fascinate buyers around the world. Somehow, the beauty of the pearl grows when it's been retrieved from the depth of the ocean.
Buying Pearl Jewelry Without Being Ripped Off
Buying pearl jewelry can be fun, exciting and confusing. Whether you're considering a gift of pearl jewelry for someone special or as a treat for yourself, take some time to learn the terms used in the industry. Here's some information to help you get the best quality pearl jewelry for your money, whether you're shopping in a traditional brick and mortar store or online.
Pearls
Natural or real pearls are made by oysters and other mollusks. Cultured pearls also are grown by mollusks, but with human intervention; that is, an irritant introduced into the shells causes a pearl to grow. Imitation pearls are man-made with glass, plastic, or organic materials.
Because natural pearls are very rare, most pearls used in jewelry are either cultured or imitation pearls. Cultured pearls, because they are made by oysters or mollusks, usually are more expensive than imitation pears. A cultured pearl's value is largely based on its size, usually stated in millimeters, and the quality of its nacre coating, which give it luster. Jewelers should tell your if the pearls are cultured or imitation. Some black, bronze, gold, purple, blue and orange pearls, whether natural or cultured, occur that way in nature; some, however, are dyed through various processes. Jewelers should tell you whether the colored pearls are naturally colored, dyed or irradiated.
Clams, oysters, mussels and many other mollusks with limy shells are known to produce pearls. But very few kinds yield gem pearls of jeweler's quality. The pearl is an abnormal growth of mother-of-pearl, or nacre, imbedded in the soft bodies of these shellfish. It is built up, layer upon layer, in the same way as nacre is added to the lining of the growing shell and always has the same color and luster. For example, over the country, hundreds of good-sized pearls are found each year in the oysters we eat. Unfortunately these have no commercial value regardless of whether they have been cooked or not because they are dull opaque white or purple like the shell of the parent oyster. In recent times almost all pearls of gem quality come from the oriental pearl oyster which has a bright shimmering translucent nacre.
A pearl starts growing when some irritating foreign substance such as a sand grain, bit of mud, parasite or other object becomes lodged in the shell-producing gland called the mantle. Pearls formed in the soft flesh where nacre can be added on all sides are most likely to be spherical and the most highly prized. By far the great majority are flattened or variously distorted and have little value. Size, color, luster and freedom from flaws are other essential qualities. Unlike other gems, such as diamonds, pearls have an average life of only about 50 years. In time the small amount of water in a pearl's make-up is lost and its surface cracks. Because they are mostly lime, necklaces which are worn often are injured by the acid secretions of the human skin.
freshwater pearl
For many people the subject of recruiting is the deathblow to their network marketing dreams.
Does it have to be this way? Why do so many people join multi-level marketing organizations, only to freshwater pearl dropout in disgust within the month? There is no denying this fact: Recruiting can be tough.
The toughest thing about recruiting is not approaching people and discussing the opportunity-- your enthusiasm for the business will see you through any hesitancy in this area. And lack of interest and outright refusal on cultured pearl the part of your prospects to recruit can demoralize you.
But the most devastating thing to network marketing careers is disappointment and discouragement. Disappointment and discouragement can eat through your excitement for this business like rust through the hull of an aircraft carrier--and that's what sinks the bulk of akoya pearl us. Not rust, discouragement.
How do you keep from becoming discouraged? It's easy for people to say, "keep your chin up," or "keep trying, a positive attitude will see you through." But verbal encouragement can only get you so far.
Recruiting should be approached in a particular frame of mind, and that is: "Not everybody will be interested, but somewhere out there are six people I can lead to joining my organization. All I have to pearl necklace do is find them."
The art of finding those six people brings to mind the oyster parable. In the Persian Gulf pearl divers drop forty to sixty feet, without scuba equipment, to reach the oyster beds. During the day, they may dive numerous times, retrieving hundreds of oysters. Later, on the decks of their dhow, they will open the oyster shells in search of pearls. Sadly, less than one out of a hundred of the oysters contain a pearl. Yet, the pearl diving industry has thrived for thousands of years.
Your business is the same as the pearl earrings pearl diver's. Your prospect pool is the oyster bed you must search through to find the pearl. Don't despair, this is the real world, and it is not going to change to suit your individual needs. Adapt to it. Accept the fact that not every person you meet will be excited about the opportunity, nor will they willingly submit to being trained or taught to think differently.
As Aristophanes wisely stated years ago, "you cannot teach a crab to walk straight." Fortunately, you don't need everybody. You only need to find a handful of pearls, to be on your way. Success is just one more dive to the oyster beds away.
Newbie Trap: Reluctance to recruit. Recruiting is tough, but failure is tougher.
Here's a fact that will not make you happy: Most of your recruits will quit before ever getting to first base. Period. Now all you can do is accept that fact and then take some calculated action to help decrease the percentage of people from your organization who quit.
What good does it do you to recruit ten people, and then have them all quit within the month? Think about it. Wouldn't it be better to recruit just one person during that same month and spend a little extra time helping that person develop? Everybody has their own opinion on this matter, but if you want to increase your chances of hanging on to the people you recruit, consider some of the following techniques:
a. Support Your People
Once you inspire a prospect to join your organization, you need to support him until he gains his "network marketing legs." A new prospect needs to be encouraged, even baby-sat to a certain degree. Most importantly, a new associate needs to be appreciated. Let her know that she is a part of the team, and that her individual development and success is both wanted and critical to the success of the organization. Reward her frequently with t-shirts or other inexpensive gifts for achieving predetermined levels of growth and sales volume, and of course, help her establish new goals and action plans.
b. Train your People
Have you ever walked into a new job and not been given the benefit of a trainer? What does it feel like when a boss tells you to get the job done, but doesn't offer to tell you how to do it? That's how the new recruit feels when you sign him or her up and say, "go to it, buddy. You can do it." This is not enough. If you intend to retain this person in your organization you must sit down immediately and brief him or her to discuss the following:
· Developing a prospect pool
· Using the product
· Making a sales presentation
· Presenting the plan
· Basic company does and don'ts
· Your expectations and hopes for him
· What you think he should do within the next 24 hours
· When you want to meet again
c. Challenge Your People
Yes, even a new recruit needs a challenge. As a part of your initial training briefing you should ask him to discuss his goals and aspirations. Help him translate these dreams into concrete action plans, then challenge him to take a step today, towards meeting that goal.
d. Set a Good Example for Your People
As the sponsor of a new recruit, you are the person that recruit will look to for guidance. In network marketing, you are not a supervisor, you are a mentor, and as a mentor every word you utter, and ever act you commit, will be observed and evaluated. Be careful what you do and how you act, because your organization will develop into a mirror image of your personality.
At a very basic level, always appear clean and neat, attend opportunity meetings regularly, conduct training seminars in your home (and encourage your direct downline to do the same with their downline), use the product, and always keep your meetings free of foul language and alcohol.
To succeed in network marketing you need to grow and retain the people you recruit. As discussed above, people will not stick around if they cannot see an opportunity for their personal reward. This may come as a shock to some, but people worth recruiting do not join multi-level marketing companies for you, they join them for themselves. And if you can't show them, or they can't understand how to duplicate the techniques and successes you enjoy, then they will not stick around.
The secret to retention is keeping your presentation of the opportunity and every step in the business building process, as simple as possible. Always remember that whatever you are doing, your downline is asking themselves: "Is this something I can do?" If your methods are simplicity itself, they may stick around long enough to duplicate your successes. If they perceive your methodology as too complex, then they will become intimidated and quit within the month.
Simplify everything you do. In your training sessions, break the business into bite size chunks: recruiting, sales, recruiting, sales, recruiting. Break each of these chunks into smaller morsels. For recruiting: make prospect list, drop off video to prospect, return two days later and invite to meeting. If they haven't watched the video, pick it up anyway and move to the next prospect. For sales: use the product, demonstrate the product, hand out catalogs, and ask for orders.
Break the business into manageable pieces so people can comprehend the entire process. The simpler you make it, the easier it will be for the new members of your downline to take decisive action to build their own business.
In short, keep it simple.
Would you believe that success in network marketing can be obtained by using a cookie cutter? Unfortunately, this is not the little aluminum device stored in the bottom drawer of your kitchen cabinet. But, the concept is the same.
A cookie cutter is a device that allows you to quickly stamp out exact replicas of intricate designs and patterns in your cookie dough. As a businessperson, you can use cookie cutters to reproduce small successes. For example, a successful home opportunity meeting usually has an agenda similar to the one below:
· Reception.
· Present the opportunity.
· Ask your prospects to join.
· Collect referrals and new customers from prospects who turn down the opportunity.
· Dismiss within 90minutes of start time.
If this method of presentation works for you, why change it? Do the same thing over and over. If you or your mentor greet prospects in a certain way that seems to consistently work, would you change it? No. Repeat the exact same process over and over.
If your technique is not working, would you change it? Certainly. Any method that proves unacceptable or offers poor results needs to be tossed out like a broken cookie cutter. You can't afford to repeat mistakes. Adjust your cookie cutter methodology and try again.
pearl necklace
Making sure that your pearls are well preserved is not difficult. Pearls are usually passed on from one generation to the next, so pearls are most often family heirlooms. If you have inherited a pearl necklace string of pearls from your grandmother or has bought one for yourself that you’re planning to hand over to your granddaughter, you should be taking care of it now, shouldn’t you? Cleaning your pearls is not difficult, but because of their delicate nature, you must remember some points when cleaning your pearls.
Dangerous Skin
Some women’s skin is more acidic than others. If pearls are constantly used, they would absorb the acid from the skin. Eventually, the acid from the skin would slowly eat the spherical-shaped pearl and the freshwater pearl pearl will become permanently damaged.
This can be avoided by taking care to wipe the pearls with a soft cloth after every use. If you immediately wipe your pearls free of acid, this acid will not have time to seep through and damage your pearls.
They Beautify and Harm
The products that do most damage to pearls are those that women love to wear most: perfume, hair spray, cosmetics, and face creams. Thus, if you want to ensure that your pearls will last a freshwater pearl jewelry long time, then you’d better make sure that your pearls are not ecxposed to such cosmetics and fragrances. Set your hair, do your make up and spray your perfume on before you even take your pearls out of your jewelry box. Moreover, remove your makeup.
Proper Pearl Cleaning
When cleaning your pearls, use only jewelry cleaners that are safe for pearls. In fact, avoid commercial jewelry cleaners altogether unless they have been specially formulated for pearl cleaning.
Do not clean your pearls using jewelry cleaners made for gold or silver. They contain an ammonia base that is harmful to cultured pearl your pearls. Do not use bleaching agents, baking sodas or powdered cleaners. Some liquid soap can damage pearls. Use only a mild soap and water solution.
Use soft, lint-free cloth to get rid of accumulated dirt, perfume, makeup, body oils or perspiration. Do not use a cultured pearl jewelry toothbrush or abrasive cloth to clean your pearls. They can scratch the surface and they can also wear away the pearls’ coating, leaving you with marked and plain-looking beads. For more thorough cleaning, use soft soapy cloth. Then using another damp cloth, gently wipe the pearls to remove all soap residue.
Clean the drill holes where the dirt particularly collects. If your pearls are especially old, you could try washing them with water and very mild liquid soap. Wipe them with detergent-free damp cloth and leave them flat on a kitchen paper to dry. Once dry, coat them with olive oil to try and restore their sheen.
After the olive oil treatment, lay the pearls on wash cloths or a moist kitchen towel to dry. Do not hang your pearls. When the wash cloth becomes dry, the pearls will usually be dry as well.
However you clean your pearls and whatever cleaning agent you use, you should remember to be very careful as you may be doing your pearls more harm than good.
If your pearls have not been properly maintained and they are now full of dirt and grime, you should bring your pearls to a trustworthy jeweler or a professional jewelry cleaner for professional care.

Israeli Couscous is a small, round semolina pasta that should not be confused with the tiny, yellow North African couscous; it is pearl jewelry a different animal altogether! Sometimes called pearl couscous or maftoul, it resembles barley, or very small, white peas.
After being shaped and rolled into small balls, these semolina pearls are toasted in an open-flame oven. This distinguishes the pearl jewelry wholesale couscous from most pasta, which is dried but not toasted. Toasting lends the couscous a distinctive, nutty flavor and particularly satisfying mouth-feel, and it also seals in the starch and reinforces the exterior, allowing the pearls to absorb liquid without falling apart. This is why Israeli couscous is ideal for saucy preparations whatever the sauce or reduction, the couscous absorbs the flavor beautifully, and the sauce sticks well to every tiny pearl.
Israeli Couscous is one of my favorite ingredients, and it is a pantry staple in my house. I love it for two reasons: it is incredibly versatile and delicious, and it is fun and easy for wholesale pearl jewelry kids to eat. Mac and cheese made with Israeli Couscous is almost as much fun as ice cream dots!
Although Israeli couscous does not cook quite as fast as the quick-cooking version of North African couscous, it is much speedier than the traditional method of steaming couscous several times.
Like other pasta, Israeli couscous is very easy to freshwater pearl prepare; you can simply add it to boiling water and cook for 10 minutes or so. Once it is ready, sauce it as you would any pasta, or use it as a delicious, eye-catching bed for grilled or roasted fish, meat or chicken. Just add a pan sauce for a really wonderful dish! It is great the next day too. For lunch, I will often sprinkle leftover cooked couscous over some greens and chopped veggies It is an easy way to give a salad a little more substance.
But there is another way to make Israeli couscous, and it is well worth the extra time. Try it "risotto style." Unlike risotto, you do not have to stand over the couscous adding simmering stock every few minutes. Simply sauté aromatics (like onions and garlic) in olive oil, add the couscous and stir well to coat, and then add broth or stock. Cook, allowing the akoya pearl couscous time to simmer and absorb the liquid, and when it has, add vegetables, herbs and seasonings as desired. This risotto-style couscous is simply sensational made with fresh basil and summer tomatoes; sprinkle some feta cheese on top and serve with grilled marinated lamb or chicken.
Israeli couscous is also wonderful for picnics and potluck dishes. Try it in your favorite pasta salad. Pasta salads are often made with larger pasta shapes that dominate the dish with their starchy texture. But pasta salad made with Israeli couscous allows every mouthwatering element to shine. Each mouthful is a perfect balance of soft, flavorful pasta and whatever delicious ingredients you have chosen for the salad.

The Monitor’s personal tech columnist, Tom Reagan, previewed the kit earlier this year. He fell in love with its quirky simplicity:
It works like this: After buying the Yoostar home entertainment system – available [now for $170] – you will get a camera, green screen, remote control, and Yoostar software for either a PC or Mac. Pick a clip from Yoostar’s library and, once you’ve summoned your inner Hollywood star, stage the pearl necklace scene in front of the green screen.
The camera captures your performance and the software places you into the movie. Just remember not to wear anything green, or else you’ll appear to have a big hole in your body.

Yoostar’s website hosts tons of other examples, such as rapper Snoop Dog quarreling with Costello in “Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein.” More recent additions include scenes from “Blues Bros,” “The Godfather,” “Shaun of the Dead,” and the TV show “Mad Men.”
